Best websites/books for learning introductory astronomy?
I have a basic understanding of science having taken classes in high school but quite recently I've become more and more interested in astronomy and I would really like to learn more! I'm not really sure where to start as I don't even know the basic topics of astronomy to begin with! If anyone has any recommendations of books, websites, or even documentaries to get me started I would be appreciative.

if you don't know the basics, i'd recommend the children's space/astronomy books (hey don't knock em till you try them. they explain it very simply, then after you get the basics, delve more into the advanced stuff) also, go on netflix and watch Cosmos or any other astronomy documentary
A great magazine is "Astronomy". History did a great series called "The Universe" On Discovery Science there is a series called "How the Universe Works" The physicist Brian Cox did 3 fantastic series called "The Wonders of Solar System, Universe, Life". The there is "Cosmos" both the Carl Sagan version and the Neil Degrasse Tyson version.
