I banged it on the dog cage and its really bloody now. half of my nail broke off right before the cuticle. I decided to just cut the whole nail to the same length instead of half long half broken (because when I put on my leggings it tore it ((D: ) but now im really worried it wont grow long again. it looks really ugly af too :(

-Yes. It's gonna TAKE- quite awhile. But it WILL- grow back... :)

My advice is to keep it wrapped up in bandages until it grows back, and try to prevent infections from happening by cleaning it. But if you're unsure, plan an appointment with a doctor. :)
