我8/8號這星期六就要出國了 跟家人先去旅遊
可是我前幾天去申請f-1美簽被拒了還拿到了214(b)
但問題是我一直都是在美國上課的學生而且還有一個學期就讀完了
那個機車海關居然對我說我待太久blablabla
我的問題是 我之前的i-20因為過期 所以學校給我了一個新的
但上面的sevis碼跟之前不同所以要重新申請一個visa
被拒之後我回家又重新申請繳費
但我後來發現郵局繳費單上的號碼是跟之前一樣的
我在想我是不是浪費錢了
因為我因為我在預約簽證的網站上打上我的郵局收據碼後
網站上卻一直顯示 “所輸入的收據號碼找不到有效記錄。請確認你的收據號碼正確，並確認你已就正在申請的簽證繳付正確的金額。”
不知道我是哪個環節出錯了 請問一下有經驗的人！

然後我還有查到說要用什麼214b存證信函
可是我實在是不懂 （可能我理解能力太差）
ps我有觀光簽證 但我超怕到美國被遣返的
可是如果沒拿到f-1簽證
我是先去旅遊再回台灣再去美國這樣不知道可不可行
如果不行的話就要休學了 > <

Although denial under Section 214(b) is the most common reason for travel visa denial, denial under Section 214(b) for student visa is very rare.
It has to do with your previous stay(s) in the U.S.
My guess is you have enrolled in a language school for more than a year. And your current I-20 is showing you will be back for language school again.
AIT will only issue F-1 visa for language school in 1-year validity. Typical F-1 visas are issued in 5-year validity.
If this is the case, it will be the dead end (as you can't explain why you need to continue your studies).

There is missing piece in your story. SEVIS number is always the same despite renewing I-20 or transferring. The only time DSO will issue new SEVIS number is when your old status/number is so corrupted that there is no fixing.
