Is 10watts powerful to light up a room?

I have a small-medium room, and I'm trying to buy the color changing led lightbulb. When I see pictures of people using it, it is mostly on lamps , but I don't have lamps I have one light source on my ceiling. I want to know how much watts would be good to bright my whole room without buying a bunch of lamps. I know you don't know the measurements of my room, but it is just a small apartment room
