Does sharpie wash out of cotton?

I'm going to Warped Tour tomorrow and I'm planing on buying a T shirt and having some bands sign it with my sharpies. If I put it in the wash will it fade or wash out?

After a while it will. You may be able to find some kind of fixative at a fabric or hobby & craft store.

cheap AEROSOL hair spray. Spray until it's wet, let sit for a few minutes. Wash as usual and it will be gone.

I don't think so...Someone wrote on my jacket with sharpie five years ago and it still won't come out >:/
