So I do it like this:6x^2 + 512 = 7
Subtract 512 from each side
6x^8 = 7 - 512 = -505
Divide both sides by 6
x^8 = -84.1666...
The 8th roots are:
x = +/-1.60789568898665 +/- 0.66601218759045 i
x = +/-0.66601218759045 +/- 1.60789565598665 i

not do-able, you can't get a negative number with 8th power.

In the complex plane,
x = ±( i*8√(-505/6) )
x = ±( i*8√(-505/6) )
