My laptop will not charge. More details.?

It's not the battery itself but the adapter.
I'm having a really hard time finding the adapter/charger for my model.
ASUS i3 - 2350m
I bought it 2 years ago roughly so it's out of warantee.
I know it's not the fuse or the plug because I did the old switcheroo of plugs and adapters with my old Toshiba laptop. Only difference is I cannot use that charger as it is a 5A whereas my ASUS is a 3A.
Any suggestions on where I can try looking?

the Asus adapter will have a part number on its label, google the part number will probably reveal a number of suppliers
If the only difference between the chargers is that the Toshiba is 5amp and the Asus 3amp as long as the voltage and the polarity are the same and the tip fits into the socket then it is safe to use, all chargers are regulated supply - they only supply what is needed

i typed ...charger asus i3 - 2350m.. into google and i see results on several major websites for that ac adapter.
