DK Nature Encyclopedia (p.161)裡對八隻腳的spider的描述是：
... Whip spiders have wider bodies carried on long spindly legs and tend to run sideways when hunting their insect prey. ... They walk on just six of their eight legs, using the first, thinner pair to feel their way around.

所以蜘蛛和螃蟹的移動方式可以依「速度」和「方向」等的不同，用move, run, walk, climb, jump等來描述。

蜘蛛在蛛網上「走路」，當然可以譯成walk（因為與所要表達的中文意思接近：行進速度類似走路）。
同理螃蟹也是相同。

p.158 DK Nature Encyclopedia對螃蠏的足也是用walking來描述

只不過應該是climb，而不是walk喔!
