Let's hope Joe is right! For sure that is the first step! If you don't have gutters and downspouts, you must make ABSOLUTELY water is not backingup to the house. With an add-on, like a sunroom, the initial grade may have been disturbed. Water should be pushed out a good 18 inches from the house. If you have gutter and downspout, make sure they are working, not clogged and the downspout runoff has a section to carry water 3' or more from house. You may have to have a French drain dug around the sunroom to carry rainwater to the lowest part of the yard.......let's hope not, that gets expensive.
Could be lots of reasons. One likely possibility is that rainwater coming off of your roof is not being carried far enough away by your gutters and downspouts, and is pooling at the base of your wall.
Next time it rains hard, dress for it, and go outside. Take a good hard look at where the water goes.
This could turn out to be an easy and cheap fix.
