Series is a GP of form a, ar, ar^2,....,ar^(n-1),... where a is the first term, r is common ratio {|r| not 1} and the
nth term is ar^(n-1), n = 1,2,3,...., ad inf. Here a = 1 and r = 2.5 and n = 5. So the 5th term is (1)(2.3)^4 =
27.9841, approx. = 27.98 to nearest one hundredth.

a₁ = 1
r = 2.3
a₅ = 2.3⁵⁻¹ = 27.9841 ≅ 27.98

an=ar^(n-1) <--- that is the rule for a geometric sequence...

an=2.3^(n-1)

a(5)=2.3^4=27.98

Fifth term = ar^4
= (1)(2.3)^4 = 27.9841

a r^4 = 1 x 2.3^4 = 27.98
