hill與mountain的使用問題

(1)on the side of a hill:-singular;
The house is built on the side of a hill.
=higer than the land around it, but not as high as a mountain.
(2)in the hills:-
I like walking in the hills.
(=in the area where there are hills)
Always take care when walking down steep hills.
(3)mountain n., a very high hill, often with rocks near the top; a chain of mountains.Always adds an "s".
A range of mountains;
We spent three days walking in the mountains.
To climb mountains.
To enjoy the mountain scenery with mountain roads.
Mountain rescue teams.
We made mountains of chicken sandwiches.

其實不管是mountain還是hill加不加s都是單複數之差而已噢～

也就是說on the hill跟on the hills都可以 但是第一個是"在一個山丘上"另一個是"在很多山丘上" 看你前後文想說的是什麼意思

Mountain要不要加s也是看你想表達單數還是複數的意思

另外補充in the hill是"在山丘裡"的意思
