Both names are very pretty. My favourite of the two is Sofia, but it's ridiculously popular at the moment and I wouldn't want my daughter to be one of many girls with the same name in her school, so I would go with Abigail.
If you're struggling to make a decision, Sofia Abigail or Abigail Sofia would be a lovely combination.
Hope I helped ;) xx
I am surprised most people are saying Sofia. Is it because there is a new princess cartoon named Sofia? I happen to think Abigail sounds more regal and beautiful like instead of being a princess, Abigail is actually a Queen already. Both are beautiful names but I prefer Abigail.
Sofia is a nice name but I have met 4 Sofia's in my grade this past year. Abigail is more original and you can call her Abby. Abigail is also personally more sophisticated of a name then Sofia.

Im sorry, I don't know who is answering your question here. These are both terrible names...Not on the top 10 or top 50 preferred names. They also dont flow if you are familiar with lots of names.
With that said. With Abigail becomes Abby every time. No one says Abigail.. Now Abby is decent. I actually don't mind this it can be cute. No point in Abigail and Sofia just doesn't flow I don't know what you can do with this one; sophie I think is for the birds. Re-consider and go over the 25 most desired names list plz. Do your child a favor. Its not about you; its about them.
Go ahead and give me best answer plz. Thanks.
