What happens if you don't pick up your degree from your University?

My graduation ceremony was a month ago and I didn't attend. I was supposed to pick up my degree within the one month period but I kept forgetting. The deadline was today. The registrar's office is closed right now so I can't call them but does this basically mean that there's no way for me to get my degree anymore?

I'd like to point out that I don't really care about my degree. I'm just curious. I got accepted to med school so a bachelor's degree means nothing to me anymore. What do they do with the physical copy of the degree? Do they shred it or something? The image of that just seems kinda funny lol.

They keep it on file at the Registrar or Admin office. You can either pick it up there or request they mail it to you for a small fee.

Good luck

What happens is on the first day of your med school they'll say let's just take a look at your degree first, and you'll say "I don't have it". "Why not?" "Didn't pick it up, couldn't be bothered, don't really care." "Right... so get out of here, then, since you clearly don't meet our entry criteria." Now do you care?

They'll probably charge you a fee, the definitely can't deny you the degree.

You mean Diploma, not Degree. You have the Degree, even without the Diploma. You probably won't need it to frame and hang in your office.
