Why am I this way?

i'm 22, i just got laid off of my job a few months ago, i want to go to college but I'm indecisive and I don't have the finance. My parents ( i dont live with them) are pushing me to go to college but I'm honestly scared because what if i get there and don't know what i want to do? My life is passing by and I'm still stuck in the same spot. I just don't know I want to do things but the things i want to do cost money.

college is the new high school, these days even people with university degree have issues because some jobs want master degree.You should go to school. If you don't want to pursue/spend more on education later on. Research on the job market and pick a program that is more skillful, and could get you a job.

Stop being scared. Everyone else at your school and every other school in America are going through the exact same thing you're going through. Watch some youtube videos about college orientations and any other issues that concern you and you'll see. Just go. You won't be sorry.

Students go to a particular school because they NEED a degree for the career intended. Otherwise, there is no need to go.
