Does drinking water detox your body to make you thinner and less bloated? If not, what does? I don't like diets but I want to be thinner...?

Your body uses urine to excrete waste. If it's not clear, you should be drinking more water.

Drinking water does not flush your body of fat. There's only two ways to remove fat from your body. Fat is stored energy, so to get rid of it, you need to force your body to use that. Fat is harder to break down than carbohydrates, so if your body has a choice, it will always use up the carbs first. Restricting your calories and limiting your carbohydrates will force your body to start breaking down fat. You can also increase your body's rate of breakdown by using up more energy with exercise.

The other way is to have the fat surgically removed. Liposuction, apart from being a dangerous procedure is not a permanent fix. If the person does not learn to correct their poor eating habits, they will only put the fat back on.

Why do people say to drink water when trying to lose weight?
Like I said before, drinking water will not flush fat out of your body. However, if you replace other beverages like sodas, juice and other things you likely drink throughout the day with water, you can eliminate a large portion of unnecessary calories in your diet. Water does not have calories, so drink as much as you want.

It doesn't work for me...but maybe it will work for you. Try it for a week.
