What equal deposits, one made now and another made one year from now,will accumulate to $2000 two years from now at 6.25%/a compoundedsemi-annually?

Let the deposit be $x.x × (1+6.25%/2)⁴ + x × (1+6.25%/2)² = 2000
x = 2000/(1.03125⁴+1.03125²)
x = $911 (cor. to 3 sig. fig.)
The equal deposits are $911.
