If you wanted to move out of your state, would you look for a house first or a job? Which is more convenient and practical and why?

A job first. I have moved to 8 different cities within 5 states - always the job came first. I continued at my old job until I found a new one.

I think finding a job is more important. You could always find a house later on and just camp in the mean time. Or even be homeless for awhile.

You damn well better have a job before you go anywhere. You can't proceed with the other unless you have an income.

I'd look for a job. I'd never move without a job in place. There's no point in finding a house if you can't afford to support yourself

Hubby and I both have a job that can be transferred across the country, so that wouldn't be a worry! Just gotta get a place to live!

First find a job, you need money to run a house,

At my stage of life we would look for a house first and then a job when a suitable house was on the scene.

Job - I would have the job secure; then look for a house/apt, etc.... Because what if you move there and then there are no jobs.....be practical; secure a job first.

A job. You usually can't get a place to live without a proof of income.
