Type0 100%必然發生,事實(例如把木板放在海上會浮起)
注意是一定會發生的!!!
句式:
if...(現在式)..., (現在式)....
eg.
If I heat the ice, it melts.
如果我把冰加熱，它會溶。

Type1 90%的應該會發生的事情,例如不溫習考試會不合格...之類的

句式
if...(現在式)..., (未來式 即will + infinitive)
eg if the weather is not rainy,i will go to the beach.
v如果不下雨,我會去海灘

type 0: talk about something that is always true/something that always happens
if-clause: simple present tense
main clause: simple present tense
e.g. If you press this button, the cooker starts cooking immediately.
I get stomach ache if I eat too much.
Type 1: talk about what is likly to happen in the future when a situation is likely to be true
if-clause: simple present tense
main clause: will + bare infinitive
e.g. If I go to Beijing next month, I will visit the Great Wall.

NOTE
1. Always use simple present tense in the if-clause although we are talking about the future.
2. Use can/may instead of will in the main clauses when we are less certain about the outcome of the situation
3. Can also use the word unless to replace if ... not.

type 0 : if + simple present, simple present
e.g If you cross an international date line, the time changes.

type 1: if + simple present, simple future
e.g.If I have enough time, I'll watch the football match.
