What should I get?

Ok, i'll make this quick. My friend lost my 3ds which was in a case that had 9 games in them that is probably 30$ each. His mom ask me what do I want to do? I don't want to overprice them or anything. My mom told me when I tell them what I want, it can't be money. And I really don't want to buy another 3ds and start all over. I'm thinking maybe a Xbox one or ps4 which should probably even the cost. His son has a xbox one so, yea. What do you think? Thanks.

Don't consider the replacement cost, but rather at most what you could have got selling that stuff. If it's a friend you don't want to gouge them for every dollar you can get, maybe just the new system and a game or 2.
