how long should i preheat my oven?

i wanna make cupcakes and cookies but dont want to burn them i have those black stove top ovens and not sure if you have one can you at least tell me how much you preheat yours? Thx so much every comment is read with apppreciation

I would preheat the oven for 10-15 minutes. You set the temperature to the one you are supposed to use for baking the cupcakes, then just preheat the oven. Some oven beep when they reach the proper temperature. .

I usually end up preheating my over for about 8 Mons but it also depend on the size of your oven. Mine has a light that goes off once its reached the right temperature... Cupcakes usually bake at what, like 350°? The preheating time varies with ° too, obviously. Sorry I dont have an exact answer... :)
