How many mL of 6.00 M Sulfuric acid solution would you use to prepare 250 mL of 0.400 M H2SO4 by dilution with distilled water?
Please show me how to do this in steps. This is a practice test and I can't remember how to do it

For all dilution questions use equation:
C1V1 = C2V2
6.00*V1 = 0.400*250
V1 = 0.400*250/6
V1 = 16.7mL of 6.00M acid required.
