Is Portland Oregon better to live in than Seattle Washington?

They're both great cities. Portland is a little dryer. Seattle is bigger and more cosmopolitan. I wouldn't say either is objectively better.

Portland, it's a bit smaller and has few more days of sun. It's a beautiful city, close to MT.Hood. Also the beaches in Oregon are better and there is no sale tax in Oregon!

I would find the smaller size of Portland to be attractive, though I prefer not to live in a city.
