Does GameStop give you store credit for broken Xbox 360?

I need to get a new Xbox because mine stopped reading discs :/ can they take it, get it refurbished and give me store credit? Or something

There is NO VALUE in a broken anything.
They might charge you for dumpster fees.

They offered me 40 for my working one (it's an older Elite edition though). So I just kept it, good thing I did too, games this gen get boring too quick unless you get the season pass.
