Cat or dog? which one do you prefer?

I prefer dog. I have a dog. He is one of my best friend. Every time I get home, he always sits before the door to wait welcome me. Then he will wag his tail happily. And when I'm sad, he will always sit with me silently all the time.

I love them both. I grew up with dogs since mom hates cats (dad loved cats but didn't like dogs). But dogs need too much--many walks every single day whether you are sick or it's storming outside and you don't want to go out. So I've had cats. They don't have to be walked and are just as affectionate. And they don't bark (I live in an apartment and have neighbors) and don't make a lot of noise.

Ugh I love both, but dogs. My puppy is my little baby, he's just so cute and adorable and loving and he's the sweetest little thing in the whole wide world! I love the affection dogs show. But at the same time, I love kitties too and they don't bark all the time and need to be walked 3 times a day and poop on my floor....but I'm still a dog person :)

I'm more of a dog lover, but I love my cats to absolute bits. Some people think dogs are filthy and dumb, some people think cats are nasty and selfish, but they're all wrong! Yeah, dogs can do filthy things and cats can do nasty things, but the dumbest thing a dog does is giving us their unconditional love, and just because cats are independent and royal, doesn't mean they're selfish.

I actually hated cats when I was younger because my parents and best friend/dog did. But I fell in love with two fluffy, cute, little, stray kittens, and they grew into gorgeous, affectionate, hilarious, loyal cats totally changing not only my perception, but my dog who had previously only chased cats, became their mother and only chased them away from each other during fights. It made the loss of my best friend a lot easier having my cats there doing all the little things and routines they'd learnt from her...

I do love cats to bits, but there's a reason dogs are man's best friend.
You won't ever get that amount of love and devotion from anything else on this planet!

And of course in Boston it just has to be slowly roasted Bull Dog to go along with a big pot of Boston Baked Beans. When I was 19 months old my grandma's cat was introduced to the family. I got close to the cat and patted it hard on the nose, it scratched my right eye. I am blind in the right eye now. I'd do whatever it takes to ever get that close to a cat, I hate them. So I got two dogs... I love dogs!
