Are you all aware that there is life outside of fast-food?

Where I live, I can make a batch of stew or chili that will last me a week for under $15. Add other groceries for other meals, my grocery bill for a week averaged out over a month can be less than $50 per week if I shop smartly. If I were to eat every meal at McDonald's it would be more like $100 per week given my appetite.

What you're paying for though is convenience. The recipes I do like take a lot of prep time, and I really really hate washing dishes. So, there are days where fast food is just easier. I usually pick better establishments, though, like Chipotle Grill, Noodles & Company, and Boston Market, or even the grocery store deli for times when I'm in a hurry.

I hear ya! You have to remember though. The fast food industry relies solely on stupid people. Did you know Donald Trump has McDonalds about five times a week?

Oh they're aware alright. While some are just lazy others don't have much money to afford healthier foods. A couple bucks in mcdonalds can feed a family for dinner whereas in a grocery store you couldn't get that quantity and make sure you and your kids aren't hungry at the same time. So that's the issue you have to understand, for some people buying fast food is the only thing that they can afford in order for their family to live and not be hungry.
