Leonardo is a very important figure not just in the Renaissance but in history for his scientific study and inventions.found in his notebooks. He was the first person to draw accurately the anatomic details of the human body giving incite into the organs for medical study. He invented a flying machine and a tank. He painted with exquisite style that always had a mystical look to the figures and even the landscapes. And he did very few paintings. The portrait in question had all of the qualities they made up his style the smooth haunting forms of his figures and a mysterious landscape in the background whose details you should study. One feature that lent an air of mystery to the portrait was the subject has no eyebrows and she has that mysterious half smile that has led to comments of art critics and made its way into literature and song. https://plus.google.com/u/0/s/Song%20Mona%20Lisa%20Nat%20King%20Cole
