I suppose it's possible, but I don't see the Caps losing three straight. Holtby is remarkably resilient after losses; he bounces back and puts up a show-stopping performance. I think the Caps are also hungry.

Remember last year? Bruins were an absolute beast during the regular season.
They enter the playoffs the same way the Rangers did. Presidents Trophy winners. They defeat their opponents 4-1. Looks like its going to be a cruise to the finals or at least ECF. They enter the second round against a bit better team than who they faced. The Bruins struggled but somehow made it to game 7, while the Rangers have made it to game 4 losing by 2 games. They're not out yet, but they defiantly could be.
The Pres. Trophy is IMO a curse.
So will they come back against a team thats scoring on them? The rangers are suppose to have the best goalie and defense in the league. (people thought the exact same way with the B's last year and it didnt turn out)
I really don't think they will be able to solve Holtby who is arguably the best goalie right now (him and Bishop are currently Price &Hank).

They will choke. They CAN'T score! Rick Nash is asleep at the wheel as usual in the playoffs and Yandle is a non-factor. Unless Lundquist can get 3 straight shutouts the Rangers will lose.
