Medicine doesn't require a specific area of knowledge in mathematics. But instead it requires extended area of knowledge in realms of Chemistry and mainly Biology. Though, to do well in chemistry at least a good understanding in mathematics. The standard mathematics program a school provides should be sufficient for a Medicine degree.
Pre-med students are always required to take SOME calculus in college, which means you need a very good foundation in algebra, and SOME trig. Med students often take statistics, too. Good algebra will help you with biology and chemistry and whatever physics you may be asked to learn. If you are not doing well in algebra, you should repeat it.
Studying a degree in Medicine relies on a very sound knowledge of both Biology and Chemistry.
I would consider searching the web and finding out specific maths skills for both of these subjects.

Students who want to become doctors should take all available math courses in high school. In chronological order, most high schools and many colleges offer students courses in pre-algebra, algebra 1, algebra 2 and trigonometry or pre-calculus. Each of these courses require students to have a passing grade in the previous courses. In other words, the prerequisites for trigonometry or pre-calculus are pre-algebra and algebra 1 and 2. These courses introduce students to topics such as factoring, polynomials, functions and graphing, and give them a stronger foundation for the study of calculus.
