問問英文tense 問題

tense .... ok, 但... 中美文既意思唔同.........

我將會係5月16日派 (爬?) Apple Hill - I will climb Apple Hill on 16th May

I believe I can climb Apple Hill on 16th May this year. - 我相信我能夠於今年5月16日爬蘋果山

第一句是 "會去做" 是肯定的事

第二句是 "相信能夠去做" 是不肯定的事

* 以單一句字而言, 都無問題, 但如果是一篇文章而言, 意思就完全不同了, 此點要注意.

I believe I can climb AH ~ Present tense, modal verb 是 can
AH will be climbed (by me) ~ Future time, modal verb 是 will

有人認為 "will be climbed" 是 present tense

wan 解釋 can 與 will 意思不同
並且兩句不同時態, 意思怎會一樣?
幸好 wan 指出, 否則誤導他人
很少人用 passive 講 "AH will be climbed (by me)", 除了 TOMING88

The verbs in the simple present tense in the sentence express ability
eg:-I believe I can climb AH
=AH will be climbed (by me)

when May 16 ,Saturday, arrives
=adv.cl. of time and condition.
------
Hence the sentence completes in the simple present tense as follows:-
=AH will be climbed (by me) when May 16 arrives.
=Apple Hill will be climbed when May 16 arrives.
