✔ 最佳答案
1) I watched the concert.
2) I was interviewed by the reporter.
兩件事是無關聯
是 I watched the concert and I was interviewed by the reporter.
1) He walked into room.
2) He sat down at the table.
兩件事是有關聯, 第一件事發生先, 隨後第二件事發生
兩句子同樣是 active voice, 同樣是 past simple tense
He walked into room and sat at the table.
若是 passive 在前,active 在後
I was blamed by Peter and I refuted him.
合併後, 一個 clause 是 active, 一個 clause 是 passive
如果不清楚分開地列明那個是 subject, 容易攪錯, 尤其兩個 clauses 無關聯
1) We sat down for hours.
2) We talked for hours.
We sat down and talked for hours.
!) I missed the dinner. (~ past simple)
2) I am starving now. (~ present continuous)
合併後, 因為不同 tense
I missed the dinner and I am starving now.
I missed the dinner and am starving now. ~ 錯
1) He lives abroad. (lives - intransitive verb)
2) He is happy. (is ~ linking verb)
合併後, 因為不同 verb form
He lives abroad and he is happy.
老實說, 如果一個 clause 是 active, 一個 clause 是 passive
I prefer to use two separate sentences.

"verb (to be) plus (the past participle=past perfect tense". ~ TOMING88
Different forms of verb "to be":
am, is, are, was, were, been, being, be
關 past perfect tense 什麼事?
You still mess up the tenses, active and passive.

chu 說得對,
refute 是 transitive verb, 這裡解 "反駁", 因 object 是人
不是解 "證明", 證明理論, 意見, 指控...etc 不對
TOMING88 看不明發問者才會寫 為什麼 Peter 責備我
"I was blamed by Peter for his being refuted. (passive, active coming consecutively.)"
請解釋為什麼 "being refuted" 是 active
refuted 是 adjective?
