有Present Perfect Tense 問題一問

(1) " have borrowed" ---- 是present perfect tense(現在完成式)
事件發生在 2001 年, i.e. in the past. 而且已完成了。
所以，應用 : past perfect tense ---- " had borrowed "

整句是： " I had borrowed a story book from Hong Kong Central Library in 2001 "

(2) (a) 「我在2001年向中央圖書館借過一本故事書」 --- 發生先，跟著到 --- 「還番本書給中央圖書館」。
∴前者用 past perfect tense ，後者就用 past tense。
即： " had borrowed " ----> "returned"

整句是 ： " I had borrowed a story book from Hong Kong Central Library in 2001 and returned it to Central Library afterwards. "

(b) 如果分两句寫，就應該两句都用 past perfect tense。
因為两件事都過去了，也完成了。

句子是： " I had borrowed a story book from Hong Kong Central Library in 2001. Surely, I had returned it to the library by now. "

return (i, v) = 回來
