因為麥克阿瑟將軍沒有說過這句話！

說這句話的人是參與二次世界大戰空降部隊飛行員 Ernest H. Tresch,
他參與 Wisconsin Public Television 專訪 講述他當時參與戰鬥飛行的經驗.

Well it's something I've said several times, that I wouldn't do it again for
a million dollars, or I wouldn't take a million dollars for the experience.

如果尋找 General Douglas MacArthur 的名言不難發現,
作為一個軍事領袖 所有的用詞絕對都跟提高士氣有關.
Duty, Honor, Country, Never Quit, God, Valor...
連死亡跟撤退也是講：
We are not retreating - we are advancing in another direction.
Old soldiers never die; they just fade away.
這樣就不難發現，躲閃從軍經驗有關的話根本就不是他的格調！
