What is not in dispute is keeping a basically consistent regimen.
Skipping a dose will not harm you, Sometimes I forget (well, I just fall asleep or for whatever reason) without a scheduled Effexor XR.
No harm is done, and simply resume usual schedule the following day, A call to your pharmacist can explain matters.
Oh, and just disregard those who fear antidepressants. They practice bad magic, chew bark, drink teas, and die young, Their solutions are naught, and they do not understand chemistry.
depends on how long you have been taking the medication for!
As long as take it tomorrow you'll be okay :) you may feel a little but weird but not too bad.. id say it takes about 3 days to feel any real withdrawal
It depends on the antidepressant. Different antidepressants have different half-lives. The half-life is the time (after ingestion) for the drug to halve its effect on your system. The longer the half-life, the less effect skipping a day will have.
For example, Celexa and Lexapro have half-lives of around 30 hours, which is a relatively long half-life, so skipping a day should have little effect. If you were on a drug with a half-life of around 12 hours or so, then you might notice a withdrawal effect.
It doesn't matter a lot for most meds like that. Some do flush quicker than others, so you could feel (you might feel) some symptoms of withdrawal or low blood concentration, depending on which med-they aren't all the same. maybe a little buzziness or wooziness. Or maybe nothing. But missing a day isn't generally a major problem. It is more the problem of don't make it a habit or it could become an issue (like missing three out of eight days or something-you'd probably notice that).
It depends on the drug - not on how long you've taken the drug.
Prozac is long-acting and missing a dose or two will have no effect. This is not true of the other SSRIs.

Your blood level does go down, but not really that dramatically.
