How accurate are polygraphs?

I went to take a Polygraph yesterday and I told the truth on all the questions and I have witnesses to back up at court that I haven't seen my daughter since I got my chaperones taken away, and that I haven't done drugs since I have been on probation. So I was wondering if any of you all can answer my question on how accurate are polygraphs? I failed and I was 100% truthful the whole time. Please help! Thank you.

People who run polygraph agencies claim they're over 90, but having taken a polygraph for work once and compared my results with other people who worked there, that figure is laughable.
