"number of" or "numbers of"

前者是不對的，後者是正確的。

5 numbers 就是五個數字，例如：

　8, 17, 26, 33, 41

數字有五個，當然要用眾數/複數 (plural)。

另一方面，數字中的 are 其實都是指向 5 numbers 的，不要誤以為是指向 concrete cores。

5 numbers of concrete cores are taken on 4.4.2015.
可以理解為
5 numbers (of concrete cores) are taken on 4.4.2015.
〔括號中灰了的部份只是補充描述那些數字，在句子結構簡化上可以略去。〕

多口講多句，由於 4.4.2015 已經過去，所以 are 應該改為 were 才對。
