2.但是大多數高級餐廳 只有單點的"主菜單" 也會用 a la carte menu來標明
一般人當然知道 在菜單裡的東東 都可以任意點 所以會醬問 應該是 不在菜單上 而只在"合菜"上

若改為"Should I order a la carte?"就沒問題了。
因為菜單是分項標價，故a la carte具有單點的含意，這點我在回答中贊同。

You will be surprised. There are filters set up for keyword and certain criteria.
Once it fits the criteria, the whole question will be hided from 分類. It will still show in some modes but not in 分類 display.

This is a quick way to keep it clean. instead of manually clean up ads.

根據Merriam-Webster on line 字典. a la carte 借到英文裡面的意思就是according to a menu or list that prices items separately

根據Oxford on line字典, a la carte 就是 (Of a menu or restaurant) listing or serving food that can be ordered as separate items, rather than part of a set meal.

我認為這裡用 a la carte沒有錯.

Should I order a la carte也有待商榷. 我認為應該是, Do you have this a la carte? May I order it a la carte. 也就是說, menu上面沒有列此樣為單點. 但是你就只要其中的一樣而已.

其實說doggy bag的人越來越少了.

以前人裝闊, 明明吃不完, 想帶回家吃, 卻又不願承認是人要吃那個leftover. 就說, 給我包起來, 要給我家狗吃. 所以叫doggy bag. 現在, 你把餐廳的食物帶回給狗吃, 說不定被白眼說, 狗不能吃人的食物, 對狗的腎臟不好(雖然狗大多很愛, 因為人的食物比專門設計給狗吃的狗食鹹).

現在, 把沒吃完的東西帶回家反而是一種時尚..因為你不浪費(There are people hungry somewhere). 所以如果是吃剩的要帶走, 也可以說, May I have a box to take it home.

我沒見過餐廳不能只吃dessert的.

大部分的餐廳dessert menu裡的dessert都很大份. 價錢也高, 沒有不賣的道理.
