✔ 最佳答案
They both had their pros and cons, mostly that they both got stereotyped for certain moves and neither of them changed-up their moves that much.
They are almost apples to oranges to me, because they were so different. I'd say they were both fantastic performers, in their own rights. But it's like comparing a car to a truck. Again, both have their pros and cans.
Elvis Presley. When I was about 8 or 9(73/74) CBS tv used to show every Elvis movie there is on Friday nights on the late show(after the 11 O'clock news). Got a chance to see more of Elvis that way then I did Jacko.
Elvis was also a major movie star . highest paid ever, not one movie flop
Elvis by far the best
Elvis is undoubtably more influential, without rock doo-*** Wouldn't have become what it did, r&b wouldn't have made it past jazz and pop wouldn't exist leaving no room for MJ. Given Elvis didn't invent rock, that was a long progression, he certainly normalized it and threw it a few years ahead of schedule. None of our people we know and love would have pulled through at the times they did had Elvis not taken stage.
Better? That's a preference thing. Somebody might prefer an elephant farting into a trombone to The Dead Kennedys but that does make it better.
Between the king of rock and the King of pop I'd say they just about are tied. However I would put Elvis on in my car with the tracks mixed on random and would generally be pleased. MJ on random wouldn't really cut if. So Elvis wins again.
參考: I like music and anthro and history.
I like Michael Jackson's songs better. Elvis's songs are ok, but not great. All I know is Hound Dog, Blue Christmas, Jail House Rock, and a few others. I like MJ's music better, it's just more groovy, and rhythmic. Michael Jackson was a better entertainer in my opinion. He acted in more movies than Elvis, like the Wiz. Michael Jackson had many better dance moves, such as the moonwalk. Watch his music videos and watch him live. He was a great entertainer. Lastly, more people know more Michael Jackson songs than Elvis songs. I guarantee you'll hear a Michael Jackson song on the radio if you're on a Black station, or an oldies station. The only time you ever hear Elvis on the radio is around Christmas time. I think most people are choosing Elvis just because most people think Michael Jackson was a nutcase because he liked childish things, was accused of rape, had a crazy past, and changed his appearance over time. Guys, Elvis wasn't perfect either. It's obvious that Michael Jackson was/is better but people don't want to look past his wrongdoings.
Elvis! WHO is this Michelle Jackson. Elvis, the one and only KING!
Always Elvis Presley he did not get sexually nasty with weird gestures close to his genitals when he sang his songs as Michael Jackson did.
Michael Jackson, everyone for get that Elvis beat his wife. At least the allegations against MJ were never proven.
They were both great entertainers in their own way......................... So I leave it up to God to sort it out
Presley by a landslide for me. I grew up on Elvis, I've read biographies and peoples personal tales, I own records that belonged to my dad, etc. I was hardly exposed to Michael until I got older, honestly. I grew up listening to what my parents liked, as most people do. I'm only 24 too, so I kind of missed the craze for both altogether! :P
Personally speaking, I like Elvis Presley better, but I think both of them are talented musician in history.
Seeing as Elvis didn't molest young children, I think the answer is clearly Elvis.
If I want to be molested, definitely Michael Jackson. Otherwise, Elvis Presley.
Elvis Presley he is the original
That's a tough one. Both great artists who touched a lot of people. If I had to choose I would have to go with Elvis.
Obviously Elvis! He did it first, and MJ's a child molester
=> Elvis Aaron Presley "the King of Rock and Roll"
=> Michael Jackson; "the Immoral"
Now you can tell me; who is the best "Elvis"
The first true king: Elvis
Definitely Michael Jackson. I love his music. Elvis Presley is okay, but he isn't one of my favorites. I would take the King of Pop over him any day.
Michael Jackson is better! Because he can sing & dance at the same time, He sold more albums than anybody ever did in the world, every song Michael made went number 1, he gave alotta money to the poor, he won every award that was out there, he was cool & was a real down to earth guy that cared about & loved his fans. But elvis pelvis, I say the hell with elvis! Everything about elvis suck! Matter of fact he was a copy cat! He copied alotta dance moves from black singers, he was racist & he was only for white people! He perform just whites but he never perform for blacks! So thats why I say hell yes to Michael Jackson & hell naw to elvis pelvis!!
Michael Jackson was the most unique artist i know Elvis is great too but i just loved how Micheal put his soul in everything he did.
Both had contributed music that pleased many people.
Only one was an entertainer, Elvis Presly
Personally, if you're trying to go for the public's choice, I would go with Michael Jackson, considering that his hits like Thriller, Billie Jean, and Beat It are still very close to the top of the iTunes charts, while Elvis Presley has a few hits, but their previous glory has withered a bit.
Michael copied Elvis. And Gene Kelly.
I like both but if I must choose I can't I will randomly choose Michael
None Michael Jackson was a child molestor and rapist and Elvis Presley got caught dead on the pooper from a drug overdose
How dare you even place Elvis near that FREAK!!!
Presley. What about Sinatra on the list also though?
Elvis...is the King of Rock and Roll. People STILL visit Graceland....nobody goes to "neverland"
Elvis Presley all the way!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I favor Elvis, but great question.
mj and everyone is calling mj a pedo but elvis dated a 14 yr old and he was 24 !
I don't compare them! Love their unique styles, and each fit into musical history for specific reasons...
There are times when I have listened to Elvis, and there is such a soft caress given, he rocked many in some wondrous ways ((something I never appreciated until way after I grew up)). Michael is great too, bringing music into new realms for us all ~ making people hear the Beat of the Muse...
Trick question, the Beatles.
Elvis................saw Elvis in the 70's great show!!
Michael Jackson is the king of music no question about it!
I'd say Michael Jackson, Elvis was one of the greatest, but I've always preferred Michael Jackson
The King, Elvis Presley!!!
you're picking elvis cause michael jackson is black.
Micheal Jackson HEEE HEEEE!!! OWWWWWW!!
Michael Jackson was a PEDOPHILE.
Elvis Presley was a DRUG ADDICT.
As for their music, Elvis Presley was far better.
參考: I am an old man and witnessed the rise and fakk of both of them.
Michael.
I still don't think either of them were the greatest, though. I'd much rather choose Whitney Houston, Aretha Franklin, Mariah Carey, Patti Labelle, Celine Dion, or Etta James.
Very close, but Elvis Presley.
They were close in talent just depends what style you prefer.
I like a little of both but they aren't my faves.
The Father in Law, Pelvis Presley, only Priscilla ( Prissy ) knows for sure...0306/2015
Elvis Presley
I'm sorry I don't like child molesters...
Michael Jackson is THE greatest entertainer of all time.
Greatest?
Neither of those names are the greatest.
Having said that I wold take Elvis over Michael.
I think Micheal was better musically, but Elvis was better as far as Entertainers go.
elvis Presley of course. he is my uncle-second uncle twice removed.
BOTH were pedifiles! (fact!)
Elvis married a 14 year old. Jackson was Jackson.
No comparison between two icons of american music industry..choose someone else please.
I'm not really a fan of either one of them, though I did like the musical style of the jackson 5, back when mike was a kid in that group
and elvis did have one or two good songs
These are two different times in music back in Elvis day music was much more publicly innocent you could be a crack head wife beater alchoholic and the most most popular artist in earth then there the 80s where music is much more main stream and everything you do is public with a magnifying glass but at the end of the day micheal Jackson is better because his songs are simply enjoyable for all audiences and it his music wasn't specific for a certain audience like Elvis and he also has more Grammys ..............
mj fo sho. billy jean is my jam
i never will understand these VS questions... they seem poorly constituted.
Michael Jackson
at least I think he won the Epic Rap Battles of History :P
That fat guy- Kelly Clarkson
Never care for either one, but lately I've been planning on plastic surgery and MJ's song "Man In The Mirror" seems to fit my thoughts and emotions... even though the song at least when taken lyric-for-lyric doesn't seem to be about that.
It still SOUNDS like it is about it... and we all know about MJ and his relationship with plastic/cosmetic surgery.
In terms of dances, Elvis. In terms of music, MJ
It like choosing between two oranges
Both were pretty darn good!
MICHAEL JACKSON obviously
I believe that Jackson had lost this edge by 1992. Elvis lost his edge around 1968. they were both living off of past glory. Both were planning a come back when they died. Both were in physical training and loosing weight, working on new material that would have put them both on top. I can't decide.
