I'm getting a rat and I don't know what to name her. Her fur is all black. I want some humor in the name. Or a famous person :) Any ideas?

Please do some more research on rats. You need to get rats in pairs as they are social animals and can develop mental issues from being kept alone. Two or more kept together will bond with you quicker, and will be easier to train. Rats kept in pairs also are generally healthier and live longer lives than those kept in solitude. Males and females both do find in same-sex pairs or groups.

Lone rats do not tend to live a happy or long life and can suffer behavior problems due to being on their own no matter how long you spend time with it. Human companionship does not even begin to touch the companionship of another rat.
