There's absolutely no age where you're too old to play video games. I have been playing video games nearly all of my life (26), both my parents play (late 40s) and I know some people playing in their 60s. If you think that is crazy you should try playing a MMO. I've played World of Warcraft for a few years now and I've meant many people 40s, 50s, 60s and even some 70s. These people all have families, jobs and whole lives spent elsewhere from the game. Never let your age hold you back in anything you really want to do.

People tend to forget that video games are not just aimed at children anymore, and think of adults playing games like mario. Its pathetic really, that they think one waste of time is better than the other. To say,the old age is the best age for playing video games because in your childhood you are busy with studies (and you even should be for a experience for studying and not getting bored from it after 10+It is super boring for me because I never gave my study time in my childhood) and you don't have money to buy the costly ones. Same is with the teenage but most people busy with friends and obviously not in 20-40 because you are doing work about 8 hours in a day and only got some hours or a day to play.But when you are old,you got nothing to do and even got money to buy the superb games.

My Grandfather golfed until he broke his hip and his doctor informed he was no longer physically capable.He's in his 80's and enjoyed his hobby until he was physically unable to do so. I play MMO's primarily. In the guild in which I play, there are multiple members --both male and female -- that are well into their fiftes, and some who are into their 60's.

I mean, if you're nearly fifty and love Pacman or Asteroids or those cool old games from the 80s because now you can get them unlimited for free on the internet instead of having to spend tons of dollars in quarters, why not have fun reliving their youth?

I'm 39, 40 in July, my want/passion/willingness to sit and game is just waning. I cant' even sit for an hour without getting fed up with most of todays games. Xbox One, played the exclusives, tired of them, I use it for the DLNA content, my movies, music that sort of thing. Just doesn't interest me. Tried to play Xbox 360 and PS3 a few times, couldn't even enjoy the old titles. Graphics also have spoiled me, since I use to game on PC. Which I don't even touch anymore. I would say my age is, but that's just my feelings. If you're fed up you can be 15, 25, 35, 45, all up to you. Societies view, and the view of women are people in their late 20's should be pretty much past that stage. I have a gf now who despises video games. And says real men work and make livings, and spend time with people/socially. Have to admit she has a point. We don't suck our thumbs forever, or play with dolls in our 30's right?

The only thing I think you should stop is when it affects your life due to addiction. I've been playing video games since they came out. I do need to update my stuff but I don't see age as a factor. It's a matter of time and videos take a lot of time. You shouldn't short the rest of your life to play butif you have that valuable time, then why not.

This is a preference only to be decided by the person. Pressure in any form can affect this preference such as peer pressure. It is really just the person, they might find it amusing and video game interest span will last longer than if a person who isn't very interested or into video games.

I think it depends more on your economic standing, not how old you are. If you are broke, don't have financial support, and can't pay off your rent, you probably shouldn't be playing games. But if you are earning satisfactory income and have a lot of free time to spend, then you can play as much as you enjoy it regardless of how old you are. It also depend on other factors, such as health, but if you really enjoy it why not?

Some people can't play games cause they work a demanding job and might also have a family. There are people who grew up never playing games. Some discover it and find it pleasureable, while others don't think much of it.

I say it's now about how old you are, but about what your life's ambitions are. Games can stimulate the mind, but too much of it ca really suck up your time. Then you might find no quality woman wants to marry you cause you lack success, and thus have to settle for something less.
