Street Art: Art or Vandalism?

Vandalism is the action involving deliberate destruction or damage to private or public property.


Destruction - causing so much damamge to something that it no longer exists or be repaired.

Street Art can be removed right? So would it still be considered vandalism? What's your opinion.

unless you have the property owner's permission, it's vandalism. no if's, Ands, buts, or maybes about it

Still vandalism,

If you're not painting in watercolors or chalk, you're defacing property, you know "damage."

You act as if "removing street art" involves a bucket and sponge, rather than tens of thousands of dollars in repainting or sandblasting, which shortens the structures life span.
