If a person you normally clashed with was indicating they were contemplating ending their life, would you offer them legitimate compassion?

Lets say they are an MRA and you're a feminist. Or they're a feminist, and you're an MRA.

Sure. Even moral sewage like "Marg".

That's the only decent, honorable and moral thing to do.

Absolutely! I hope you are not thinking of this - we do clash a lot.

Probably. I already tell some feminists that they're probably smart and good and that they're just being used. Why do I do that? B/c they're young and I don't want them offing themselves just b/c I'm mean enough to tell them what I really think.

Would feminists do the same? I doubt it. One of those men's issues they think are so unimportant is that men are 4/5 of the suicides. Chanty Binx gets told of this and she sings 'Cry me a river'. Feminists, if you don't agree with this attitude, why not go on YouTube and rip Binx a new one.

as an aspiring therapist, i suppose i'm obligated to say ''yes''.

If it was a person I knew personally, then yes. Definitely.

But online, it's way too easy for people to make up fake drama and, by contrast, it's actually way too hard for me to really help, especially over text, and especially with somebody who I "clash" with, since that individual is liable to read my message in a totally and completely wrong way anyway.
Honestly, if somebody I clashed with online was really suicidal, I think the best help would be to stay silent, lest I try to write something heartfelt, get misinterpreted and then become the person to push him over the edge.
