✔ 最佳答案
Sorry, 你的兩句子是錯

錯的原因
使用 Correlative conjunctions (Not only, but also) 來 join two clauses,
這兩個 clauses 最好要 parallel

1) 第一個 clause 的 subject 是endangered animals (plural),
第二個clause 的 subject 是 it (singular)

2) 第一個 clause 的 tense 是 present simple tense
第二個 clause 的 tense 是 past simple tense (這錯處 applied 在第一句)

3) 第一個 clause 用 inversion, 不是用 do 因為句子是 passive, 應該是個 auxiliary verb, “are”
When “Not only” is moved to the beginning of the clause for emphasis, it is followed by auxiliary verb + subject.

Not only are the endangered animals forced to live in a smaller natural habitat…..

4) “suffer from” usage 是用錯
suffer from illness (cancer)
suffer from bad condition (shock, cold)
第二句沒有 "is suffered from" 這樣 structure, passive 是錯

最後, 想盡可能兩個 clauses 是 in the same voice

嘗試改或者希望其他網友幫忙
Not only do the endangered animals live in a smaller natural habitat with no choice, but they also suffer in the heavily polluted environment.

Comment on 回答者001:
第一個 clause 的 main verb 是 “were being forced”, 第二個 clause 的 main verb 是 “suffered”,
Joining two clauses,不可能沒有 but (conjunction) 或者 semi-colon, 否則變了 run-on sentence.

“do…are forced” 不是兩個 main verbs, do 是作 auxiliary verb, 是 inversion, 只不過 passive voice 不是用 do

Some correlative conjunctions examples:

We go there not only in winter but also in summer.
The room was not only empty, but also dark.
She not only sings, but also dances.
Not only does she wear too much makeup, but she also dresses badly.

1. Not only …後的動詞配搭錯了(do…are forced…)應該只有一個動詞。由於你的內容談及動物”被逼”這個動詞,我會用最間單的被動式動詞寫為:Not only are the animals forced to live in a smaller natural habitat,.為了增加現實/現場感,你亦可以考慮把動詞寫成被動的進行式:Not only are the animals being forced to live in a smaller natural habitat,。參考後句你用了past tense,是否這句/段是寫”記錄”而不是論述,那就把present tense的轉為past tense吧:Not only were the animals being forced to live in a smaller natural habitat,。 後句的but是錯用了,not only…also是同類或進一步加強的層遞,因此不會加個but的連接詞的。it是錯了,因為前句的主體是animals眾數的動物,所以後句這詞應該是they。 "also”在這後句中亦可以修改為寫在最後位置作為”強調語氣”:they suffered from heavily polluted environment. 2. 後句的動詞It is suffered是被動式動詞,被甚麼”suffer受苦呢?但preposition卻是from而不是by,suffer from一般是指身體的病而不是指外來的侵害,所以這句子比第一句更錯。 所以答案是兩句都是錯,第一句需要修正某些文法的句式,第二句的後句寫法全用錯文法規格和詞語。
