In this test, we have tested two samples (1 & 2), taken separately from the oil tanker (1) and from the electric generator (2) with the oil injected from the oil tanker. According to the test report, the sample (2) "taken from the electric generator" was beyond the standard but the sample (1) "taken from the oil tanker" was up to the standard. As the original source of the second sample was from the oil tanker, we can conclude that the diesel we use is of ultra-low sulfur.Comment:
You may consider to simplify the sentence by taking out the phrases "taken from the electric generator" and "taken from the oil tanker" because you have already marked them by numbers (1) and (2).
