急問一些tense 問題

Tommy在3月10日 book 左個appointment係4月1日，我都知道這件事情，佢今日打電話黎俾我同我講"I have cancelled the appointment. I had the appointment yesterday." 想問問d tense 有無用錯。

用錯了。因為past perfect 是用在一樣事情在令個事情發生之前完成。例如：I had completed the assignment before the deadline.

以 tense 黎講..... 無錯.... 但以英文常用語黎講, 會感覺混亂. 我會改為..

因為, 你既文句中動詞唔充足, 所以改期呢個動作唔明顯, 做成2個 "appointment" 極短時間內立即重覆但動作上無連接. 咁聽既人會覺得吃力.
就好似用中文講 "我之前取消左個聚會, 尋日有聚會", 聽既人會感覺混亂, 就會要你重申一次一樣.
