What to put on an apprenticeship resume?

im 17, about to finish high school this year and my tech teacher advised that I pursue an apprenticeship as a machine tool builder and integrator. The thing is, I've only ever worked in an arena before, so my work experience is basically useless. He said I should put what I've done this year in tech (designed and manufactured a Plc controlled, pneumatic sorting machine and conveyor belt) but I don't know how to work that into a resume. Anybody have any ideas?
