Data entry work freelance online tips?

Hello so i a thinking of doing data entry work on freelance site but i don t really know what to do exactly in data entry.but i would like to learn it because my typing skills is pretty good so i think the job is perfect for me.can someone brief me on it please?i just need to know what to learn exactly and if you know where i can learn please give me the links thanks.
