Need help with a guy!?!?

So I've liked this guy for ever and decided to take a chance and have my friend tell him (because awhile ago he asked if I liked him). And when she did he said he's heard from other people and has known for months... My friend asked if it was "a bad thing I liked him" and he said "No...." "I just don't get whats so special about me" so anyway then today my other friend brought it up again to him and he just said "oh I've known for awhile"
So does he just not care and he's ignoring it til I stop liking him or....? (People tell him they like him all the time and he's never cared)
Should I continue talking to him? Or will he be annoyed if he doesn't like me?
