中文講的"義氣"英文可以翻譯嗎?

叫人「捱義氣」，幫幫忙，說的往往只是一般交情，未至於指兄弟情，英文或就淨講Please do me this huge favour，「請幫我這老大一個忙」。到人家真的幫了忙，就最好去再謝一句﹕I owe you one。「我欠你一個。」一個什麼？當然就是由義氣而生的一份人情。
實在地講義氣，桃園結義，許多人腦袋第一個彈出的英文字，往往是brotherhood，兄弟班、兄弟幫。義氣，the brotherhood spirit、the spirit of brotherhood，直譯是「兄弟精神」。聽上去有點接近，但遺憾沒有中文義氣中，那個帶點江湖俠客的神髓。

另外，a sense of honour（氣節，又或譯「尊榮感」）都用得上，但就比較大圍，可以是一個人對生命、至一個國家對人民的整體態度。
He has a strong sense of honour towards his friends. 他對朋友好講義氣。

Loyalty是忠誠，比起honour，感覺可能輕一些﹔allegiance是效忠﹔integrity多指個人的風骨，都不太適合將之等同義氣。

個人了解，中文講的"義氣"，應該是帶點江湖俠義的味道吧!

唔同語言, 有時好難用一個名詞就等於中文既名詞........ 我會用 sence of honor, 但會結合前文後理去寫, 未必一定會用到.
