Hi
I am thinking about having a go at making a comic and I was wondering how much it would cost to print a small amount of comics as a sample, say 30, for instance.
Is it cheaper to print them personally or professionally. I know from personal use of paper that printing in colour can be expensive.
Also, are there any printing companies you would recommend?

If you search, you might find someone who will do it a bit cheaper locally, but for q30, it's not worth the time and hassle.

Any printer that's local can do this for you on any size paper you need (including enlargement or reduction in size. Color would be expensive, but black/white is fairly cheap even when done double sided. If they have a special going, or a discount on certain papers, the price will be lower.

Find a digital printing company near you, supply them with a press-quality pdf setup with bleed and that will be the cheapest option, they will also be able to finish, trim and bind it for you.
