1.peter's weight is the same as john's.
2.the origin of this apple is different from this orange's.

可以修改的
1.基本寫法是ok，但既然重點是"相同"的weight而不是peter還是john，因此可以寫：The weight of Peter is the same as John.
2. 基本上是正確。
3. 寫note/隨便地寫就可以(正確的用looking...)。但是是正式的寫法要有subject便要寫為: I look forward to seeing you.
4. conventional用錯詞了 - conventional是指大眾普遍的做法或工作方法，這裏是指習俗或民間風俗可以用traditional(就不會加so): Eating mooncake is traditional for us to celebrate Mid-autumn Festival.
5. 按句式寫法你這樣拆寫兩子句以突出你前文討論education比較引言後，用as for開始集中指出話題是the eduction system也可以的。但假如沒前沒後的話，其實一句寫：The education system in Hong Kong is better that in the Mainland.
